Go Ye, Preach The Gospel

TEXT: Mark 16:15, Matthew 10:7

"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature...And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand."

CHRIST'S COMMAND

The major assignment given to all believers by the only begotten son of the most high God is to preach the gospel message of salvation and the kingdom of God to all people and nations. If you are a disciple of Jesus and desire to do his will, then you must evangelise. Are you fulfilling the mandate of the saviour? Are you preaching the gospel?

A SIMPLE COMMAND - GO!

It is a simple, but imperative command. When Jesus says go, he means go. It entails leaving your comfort zone to bring souls to the kingdom of God. God has empowered every believer for this sole purpose. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth ” (Acts 1:8). You have the power and the message; therefore GO! Receive grace to do the master's command in Jesus name. As you go, the Lord will go with you, support you and help you win souls in Jesus name.

A SIMPLE COMMAND FOR YOU - GO YE!

It is a personal command from the King of kings and Lord of lords to you. God had you in mind when Jesus died on the cross. Your salvation is not an accident, God planned it from the foundation of time. You are saved to save others. You were chosen by God to win souls. "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you" (John 15:16). Will you go or not? God is depending on you. Put your feet to work. The Lord will reward your labour in the vineyard in Jesus name.

A SIMPLE COMMAND - TO PREACH THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

"And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matt 10:7). The command is simple, the message is simple, but the outcome is awesome. Just tell others about Jesus and the kingdom of God. It is as simple as John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." It is also as simple as ABC:

A - ADMIT that you are a sinner.

B - BELIEVE he died on the cross

for the sin of mankind.

C - Confess Jesus as Lord and

Saviour.

When you win a soul for Jesus, the outcome is awesome. There is great joy in heaven and on earth (Luke 15:7).

A SIMPLE COMMAND - PREACH EVERYWHERE.

Preach in your closet, your neighbourhood, your village, state, nation and the world. Preach the word and the Word. Preach through your character and example. Reach the world through all available means. All things are possible if you believe. Phillip visited Samaria and preached the gospel of Jesus and brought great joy to the entire city (Acts 8:5-8). The Lord will use you to bring great joy to your family, neighbourhood and the world in Jesus name.

PRAYER:

Father, I submit to you. Use me to win souls into your kingdom in Jesus name.

DECREE:

I will do the work of him that called me from darkness into his marvellous light.
