Go and tell

Luke 8:39 "Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you." So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.”

When the man delivered from thousands of demons begged Jesus that he may stay with Him, Jesus said, ‘return to your house and tell all the great things God has done for you’, these words just jolted me. Great things are done in our life so that we go and tell the world about it who are lost and do not know anything about Jesus. If you have tasted that God is good in your life then share the joy with others. You were not blessed for you and your family to enjoy the benefits, God wants you to share the joy. Anybody listening?

Right there in the delivery ward, as my body was raw after child birth, I shared that the miraculous birth of my son Joshua was only because of my Lord Jesus Christ, nurses, doctors and Assistants were weirdly looking at me. I had 32 fibroids on the inside and outside wall of my uterus and the placenta had come down, doctors would know the serious condition of my uterus; however, God changed it and I had normal delivery with no complications. My son Joshua was born, who is now a 24 years old Associate Pastor working for an International church in Bangalore and also pursuing his Masters in Theology, Joshua is also a writer, Gospel singer, Keyboard player and preacher. I have been narrating my testimony in writing, preaching and wherever possible because God said” return to your house and tell what great things God has done for you”. Amen. How can I keep quiet???

After I joined work in the multinational bank where I worked, “ I would go for outreach ministries in Chennai during my lunch break in the sweltering hot sun. I would go on highways and distribute gospel tracts, meet people on the roads and share Jesus. I also used to stand in front of a college near my bank during lunch and distribute Gospel tracts to students during lunch. Not many would care to even look at my face as they carelessly take the tract, some would strangely look at me and walk away. I was serious about my assignment because it was Kingdom work. Amen.

While I had to preach continuously in a 3 days camp meeting, we traveled by train as a family and reached the destination; however, I had high fever with shivering on the very first day. But I did not duck my responsibility but preached on all 3 days, some did not even know that I was sick. Jesus said “Go and describe what great things God has done for you”. Amen. How can I keep quiet???

After 24 years, I am still sharing my testimony with Uber cab drivers, passengers and the lost, though I am not very strong as before. Jesus said, “Go and describe what great things God has done for you”. Amen. How can I keep quiet??? How about you??
