GIVING IS A KINGDOM OF GOD PRINCIPLE!

In this sermon outline we point out not only is giving a blessing, but that in is a Kingdom of God principle for our lives. To have the full blessings and happiness of the Lord we need to live a life of giving. Our God is the greatest giver. He have us His Son.

(Acts 20:35 KJV) I have showed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Acts 20:33-35 (AMP) 33 I coveted no man’s silver or gold or [costly] garments. 34 You yourselves know personally that these hands ministered to my own needs and those [of the persons] who were with me. 35 In everything I have pointed out to you [by example] that, by working diligently in this manner, we ought to assist the weak, being mindful of the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, It is more blessed (makes one happier and more to be envied) to give than to receive.

I. We are blessed will all manner of blessings when we give of what God has given us.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Malachi 3:10 (KJV) Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

A. Our giving multiplies the blessing back to us.

B. There can be more than we can receive.

II. KINGDOM PRINCIPAL - GIVING PRODUCES MORE!

A. THE FARMER GIVES TO THE EARTH, THE EARTH GIVES MORE BACK

B. IT WORKS WITH MONEY.

1. My wife and I have learned a little of this blessing. We have been able carry on missions to over 125 countries by faith for 47 years.

a. How? By giving. The bigger need, give seed and it will return.

(Eccl 11:1 KJV) Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.

II. IN ACTS 3RD CHAPTER PETER GAVE AND THOUSANDS WERE SAVED

A. GIVING WHAT WE HAVE WILL PRODUCE MORE.

B. Peter and John did not have silver and gold but they had more.

C. They gave the cripple man 5 things. Read it careful.

1. Faith

2. Word

3. Name

4. Gave works.

5. Gave the right hand of fellowship in the temple.

III. JESUS GAVE THE 12 DISCIPLES POWER AND HIS WORD AND SENT THEM OUT!

Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them

power and authority over all devils, and cure diseases.

Luke 9:2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal

the sick.

Luke 9:6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching

the gospel and healing every where.

A. WHAT DID THEY DO? THEY WON SOULS AND DID THE WORKS OF CHRIST.

IV. THEN HE GAVE THE SAME TO ANOTHER 70 MEN.

Luke 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also,

and sent them two and two before his face into every city

and place, whither he himself would come.

Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great,

but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of

the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his

harvest. .

Luke 10:9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The

kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. .

B. THE 70 GAVE AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED!

Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord,

even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall

from heaven. .

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and

scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and

nothing shall by any means hurt you. .

Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are

subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names

are written in heaven. .

V. BEFORE JESUS WENT AWAY HE GAVE ALL, THE WHOLE CHURCH THE GREAT COMMISSION TO GIVE TO THE WHOLD WORLD.

VI. CONFIRMS HIS WORD WORKING WITH US.

A. GOD WANTS TO USE THE WHOLE CHURCH, HE WANTS TO USE YOU

B. PEOPLE HAVE UNBELIEF

C. DR. PRICE, ON HIS DEATH BED GAVE A PROPHESY THAT GOD WANTS TO USE THE WHOLE CHURCH IN THESE LAST DAYS.
