GIVE THE DEVIL WHAT

HE DESERVES

Tonight as believers in Jesus Christ we should

Already know that we are in a battle.

We are fighting a war that’s spiritual

And its happening whether we want it to or

Not!!

And especially in today’s world we have to

Know how to equip ourselves, and how to

Handle ourselves, as we fight this battle!

And we have to learn who we’re fighting!

And we have to learn how to defeat satan!

2nd Corinthians chap 6 says:

by the word of truth, by the power of God

by the armor of righteousness on the

right hand and on the left!!!

We have to remember tonight church

Just exactly where the battle is!!!

ITS IN OUR MINDS!!

The Lord has our hearts and the devil

Fights us in our minds, that’s his playground!

We have to remember that when God comes

In He starts out in our first room called our

Heart but-- He wants every room in

Our Bodies!!!!

And if we fill up tonight with Jesus Christ

The devil has no room to enter in (AMEN)

We have to have enough sense to know that

We have to put on the whole armor of God

We have to make sure everything is fitting

Like it should!!!!

And most important of all

We need to engage the battle and the

Enemy In Prayer!!!!!

Our battle is sin and the devil,

and he begins to attack our mind

And the apostle Paul here is trying to teach us

That the power of the gospel

Has to be applied to our minds!!!

WE HAVE TO REMEMBER WHERE

THE TRUE BATTLE IS!!!

And if we’re gonna truly give the devil

what he deserves and defeat him

And his strategies against us,

We better make sure that were fighting

The battle – Where the battle really is!!!

EPHESIANS 6:10-18

AS CHRISTIANS TONIGHT ITS OUR

DUTY TO GIVE THE DEVIL WHAT

HE DESERVE’S (AMEN)

In the last part of chapter 5 and in chapter 6,

The Apostle Paul is dealing with relationships

Between people, and this is of flesh and blood.

Here Paul shares wisdom as to how we should

Get along with each other!! but then when we

Make it on down to verses 10-12 there’s

A change in the attitude we should have

Its not anything to do with submission, or

love, or getting along,- BUT its about

fighting a war!

And there is a difference

The word is teaching us how to deal with

The devil!!!

All the teaching’s throughout God’s word

Is Love, Love and Love,

BUT

Here were to hate and reject and be in war

Against the devil

And we should have a very strong desire

To DESTROY the devil!!

So obviously Paul is teaching us that we

Are supposed to hate what God hates

Which is The devil and sin!!!!!(AMEN)

And when we begin to understand that

Satan plots against us – and our families

And our churches, and when we begin

To see how he manipulates everyone - and

Not to mention everything against us

Then we’ll understand why we should

Hate him and then we’ll understand

Why we should try to destroy him!!!

We need to keep him right under our feet!!!

Stomp him every chance we get!!!!

We have to understand that the devil

Literally wants to destroy us

And he don’t want to cause you little

Problems

He wants to cause you big problems

He wants to ruin your life

He wants to make you hate God

He wants you to turn your back on God

He wants to weaken you

He wants to tempt you

He wants you to sin to the point that

you’ll end up with him in that

Terrible place called hell!!!!!

And a perfect example of this weakness

Is back in the book of Genesis 3:13 says:

And the Lord God said unto the woman

What is this that thou hast done?

And the woman said, the serpent

Beguiled me (deceived) and I did eat!!!

Then just like today, satan used deceit

To trick eve into disobeying God

And just as he used Eve He’ll use you

Or your friends or your loved ones!!!

And the bottom line is this

The devil knows his destiny and

He wants to destroy as many people as

He can!!!

JUST LIKE WE WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN

AND TAKE EVERYONE WITH US THAT

WE CAN

THE DEVIL WANTS TO TAKE EVERYONE

WITH HIM to hell THAT HE CAN AS WELL!!!!

We have to understand that the devil has a job

To do just like we do!!

We have to keep him from accomplishing

This strategy!

He wants to keep the church from bringing

In new members1

And He wants to stop us form rescuing people
