I. Wishes to follow
a. To have a sincere desire to belong to Christ
b. If any man be Willing to be my disciple,
II. Deny himself
a. To renounce self-dependence
b. Selfish pursuits
III. Pick up cross daily
a. To embrace the condition which God has appointed
b. Bear the troubles and difficulties he may meet with in walking the Christian road
IV. Follow Me.
a. To imitate Jesus, and do and suffer all in his spirit
