Give God Your Worst
Contributed by Corey Pryor on Jul 20, 2006 (message contributor)
Summary: A simple message, about getting rid off negative things in our lives, and living Godly for Him.
Giving God Your Worst
Just stop and think about the worst things about yourself.
eg: Bad attitudes , profanity, meaness, rudness, lowself esteem, sin.
Now are you going to carry them with you for the rest of your life or are you willing to give God your worst.....
God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. God gave us his best ! in exchange for our worst.
Why would he do that?
Because he loves us and wants us to have the very best....
You see when Gods forgives us of our sin...He forgets it.
He know longer has memory of it..... much like having a hard drive and deleting the file....it’s GONE
Satan always try’s to remind you of your worst, He always try’s to stick it in your face especially when you
are trying to worship or pray ...Satan try’s to make you feel un-worthy to talk to and be in Gods presence. Because he is jealous that He cannot be....
Satan was cast out of the presence of God.
So when Satan try’s to remind you of your worst,,,, remind him of his future. and that you have been bought with a price...(that of Jesus Christ the son of the most high God). the highest price of all. God gave his best.
Now that we have giving God our worst what is left to give to God?
Our life .......it’s the best thing and most precious thing we have to give.
when we surrender to God. and live for Him, we start to live a life of blessing because God is love ,therefore when you love someone or something you want the best for it.....
. Worship is a reflection of an individual’s relationship to God.
Colossians 3:17 (KJV) "And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus"
Doing "all in the name of the Lord Jesus" means bringing honor to Christ in every aspect and activity of daily living. As a Christian, you represent Christ at all times — wherever you go and whatever you say.
1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV) "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God."
CONCLUSION: "Every work for Jesus will be blest, But He asks from everyone His best. Our talents may be few, these may be small, but UNTO HIM IS DUE OUR BEST, OUR ALL."
So when we live for God we live in the area of blesssing.
Lets us exchange our worst for Gods Best !!!!!!!!
