Theme: Your attitude and consistency in obedience move God to act on your behalf. When God acts people listen and experience the move of God in a way none could imagine.

Ephesians 4:23, 24

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Text: Acts 10: 43, 44

To him give all the prophets’ witness that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

He was a man who was not lazy but one of action. The word of the Lord states Cornelius prayed to God always and gave alms. (Charities, assistance, gifts, contributions, and donations.) but something was yet missing.

The angel of God informed Cornelius that his prayers and alms have come up for a memorial before God. In other words doing well does not make one good in the sight of God. The angel of the Lord told Cornelius to send for Peter, the man of God who will tell him what he ought to do.

24. Cornelius waited with anticipation for God’s promise to manifest.

33. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear what God has commanded you to say to me.

43. Through his name whosoever believes in him shall receive remission of sins. (God had to honor Cornelius belief and obedience) The power of the Holy Ghost is not just for a certain group of people but to those who believe and obey. God is no respect of person.

Attitude: boldness (confident, self-assured, having the nerve to act on what God has told you to do, and on what his word has said will bring transformation: change, conversion, revolution ans makeovers.

The word of God speaks of three specific types of obedience:

. Matthew 21:28-31 A Parable of the two sons

28But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work today in my vineyard.

29He answered and said I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

30And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

31Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

“Delayed obedience occurs when Jesus’ authority is questioned”

James 1:22

22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

“Partial obedience will hear the word of the Lord, but decline to act on it”

Acts 10: 33

Cornelius attitude was that of complete obedience. Immediately therefore I sent to thee: and thou hast well done that thou are come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God. 34. Then Peter opened his mouth and said, of a truth I perceive that God is no respect of person: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Peter continued, God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed. Jesus, the Jews slew and hang on a tree. God raised him on the third day. He commanded us to preach unto the people that through his name that whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

“Complete obedience will act immediately and with anticipation of a God given transformation”

Ladies and gentlemen, sisters and brothers, this is why we should not put God on hold, delay nor suspension. Jesus is the answer to getting where your obedience meets your transformation.

If you put him on hold there will be no transformation,

if you delay in coming to him when he calls you there will be no transformation.

If you suspend his plan for your life and attempt to schedule him at a time that is best or convenient for you transformation will not come.

There is a time and place for all things. Now is the time to come worship, fast and pray because these are the activities or actions that move God.

Matthew 21: 22

22And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Jesus is our supreme example “obedience, obedience, obedience.

Philippians 2: 7-9

7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
