Summary: God wants us to know Him. He has given us His word so that we will discover His character and the wonderful things He has prepared for us.

There are things that God only does for those who are related to Him that He will not do for all people. This is the privilege of those who belong to Him and know Him. That is why God wants Himself to be known by us, so that in knowing Him we will be confident in following Him wholeheartedly. He wants to reveal Himself to us. The only basis that He has given to us so that we will know Him is the Bible.

Truths we need to know about the Bible.

• The Only true God has given us the Bible as the only standard for our faith. It is the only basis for which how we can know who He really is and how we should live our lives to experience Him and His promises. He is the author of it that’s why it is more than just another book.

Amazing Unity; Scientific Accuracy; Historical Accuracy; Prophetical Accuracy; Indestructibility; Universal Influence Upon the World; Care and Copy; Amazing circulation; Absolute honesty; Life transforming power.

• If the Bible is indeed the very Word of God, we better pay attention to what is declares because how you respond to will dictate the final destiny of your life.

Experiencing God and the power of His word.

Give your life to God by turning away from sin and having faith in Jesus Christ alone. (2 Corinthians 4:4; 2 Timothy 1:10; Acts 3:19)

Seek to know Him as your greatest desire in studying His Word.

(John 5:39)

Prayerfully meditate, boldly declare and carefully obey God’s word.

(Joshua 1:8; Psalm 119:46 Mark 11: 22)

Patiently wait the fulfillment of God’s promises as you persistently obey His word. (Habakkuk 2:20)
