Generational Blessings

TEXT: PSALMS 115:14

"The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children".(KJV).

"May the LORD richly bless both you and your children" (NLT).

"May the LORD cause you to flourish, both you and your children" (NIV).

A PRAYER FOR GENERATIONS

The best blessing a man can get from God is a generational one that flows from God to parents, to children and children children and further down the family tree. Psalms 115:14 is such a blessing. Pray it daily for yourself and your children. I declare to you and your children: you will increase more and more, you and your children in Jesus name. AMEN.

ACCESSING GENERATIONAL BLESSINGS

It is the same type of blessing God gave to Abraham. It trickled down to Isaac, Jacob and the nation of Israel (Gen 17:4-8). If you are a believer in Christ, the blood of Jesus has purchased the blessing of Abraham for you (Gal 3:13-14). If you are not a believer, no problem; you only need to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour to claim the Abrahamic blessings. Once you receive Jesus and believe in his name, you become a child of God and partaker of the blessings of Abraham. (John 1:12).Hear this testimony concerning Isaac, Abraham's covenant child:

"Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great" (Gen26:12-13).

As you sow into God's work, the Lord will bless your seed and multiply it exceedingly in Jesus name. You will become great. You will move forward. You will grow and grow until you become very wealthy. Those that were mocking you will be envious of you in the mighty name of Jesus. God will make room for you and your generation to prosper in every area of life in Jesus name.

GOD PROMISES ARE BLESSINGS FOR GENERATIONS

When you know the word of God and hold God to his promise, he is bound to perform what he says. God exalts his word more than his name. Do you know that another name of Jesus is: 'The Word of God?' (Rev 19:13).

The Lord will hasten his word in Psalms 115:14 and perform it in your life and family in Jesus name. The word of God is eternal. The blessings of God are in his word and they never fail; from generation to generation God honours his word in families that stay faithful to him.

PRAYER:

The Lord shall increase you more and more in Jesus name. He will increase your children beyond measure in Jesus name.

The Lord will richly bless you and your children more and more in Jesus name. You will flourish and your children will soar in the mighty name of Jesus. AMEN.
