Summary: Gender appears to be complicated, but really it is pretty simple. Jesus and God’s word affirm there are two genders: Male and Female. There are, however, males or females who do have physical anomalies. In certain, very rare instances, it can make it difficult to know which is which.

Gender: Creation over Chaos

Genesis 1:27

In California, pronoun preference discrimination is illegal. The Armstrong Law Firm advocates for employees' rights against such workplace

Neither state law nor federal law require a coworker to use the preferred pronouns and name of a fellow employee, and therefore, an employer is likely not liable for such conduct if a reasonable person would not find the work environment to be objectively hostile.

Gender is Male and Female Only (Binary), Created by _God_. (Gen. 1:27; Mt. 19:4).

Historically, "gender" was primarily used as a synonym for the physical anatomy of a creature, or to denote grammatical categories, particularly in languages where nouns were classified as masculine, feminine, or neuter.

Gender is now defined as a fluid thing, independent of physical anatomy, that depends on how one views themselves through the lens of culture and personal opinion.

Postmodernism is the philosophy, feminism is the movement, and worldliness (decadence and excess) is the habit that has lead to the modern mess we are in.

Genesis 1:27 is clear: There are _two_ genders, and they are _male_ and _female_.

Gender Can Appear to Be _Complicated_, Even in the Bible. (Mt. 19:12).

Interestingly, Jesus acknowledges what some would call “intersex” people.

Made eunuchs by others:

This refers to individuals who have been castrated, historically by others, often for service in royal courts or as slaves. This practice dates back to ancient times and was often against the individual's will.

This practice is common in farming. With hogs, A male pig is called a boar. A male pig that has been castrated is called a barrow. In animals, this is often done to make males safer, gentler and improve meat quality. Doing this to people is treating them like animals and makes males more docile and submissive.

Born eunuchs:

These are individuals who are naturally unable to reproduce due to congenital conditions. This highlights God's awareness of and care for all people, regardless of their physical state.

It’s not quite as easy as looking at Chromosomes

In a recent article, biologist Colin Wright argues that gender in humans is binary, meaning there are two, (male and female), despite the existence of rare “intersex” conditions that people can be born with. He asserts that while these variations exist, they do not negate the fundamental biological reality of male and female, (which is defined by the type of gametes (sperm or ova) an individual produces) (https://www.realityslaststand.com/p/sex-is-not-a-spectrum).

Wright says that “...reproductive anatomy is unambiguously male or female over 99.98 percent of the time.” This “figure falls short of 100 percent because of the roughly 0.02 percent who are” exceptions. “(The actual figure is estimated to be about 0.018 percent.).” Examples of Variations:

Some examples of sex chromosome variations include:

Klinefelter Syndrome: XXY.

Turner Syndrome: Missing or partial X chromosome (XO).

Triple X Syndrome: XXX.

Jacob's Syndrome: XYY.

Mosaicism: Some cells having XX and others XY chromosomes

Gender appears to be complicated, but really it is pretty simple. Jesus and God’s word affirm there are two genders: Male and Female. There are, however, males or females who do have physical anomalies. In certain, very rare instances, it can make it difficult to know which is which.

It is Good that Gender is _Binary_ (Gen. 1:31).

God declared that it was “very good” to have male and female (Gen. 1:31).

Both male and female are created in God's _image_ and are equally valuable. However, the Bible also presents distinct roles for male and female within society, marriage and the church, based on creation not as a result of the fall.

This is in stark disagreement with Evangelical _Feminists_ like Gilbert Bilezikian. Gilbert helped lay the groundwork for modern day gender confusion by seeking to essentially eliminate all differences between males and females other than biological distinctions. Once that was eliminated, the left moved on to trying to erase all differences whatsoever, which is where we are today. Not only this, but Christians are considered bigots, especially men.

Congenital conditions were not part of God’s original creation–there were only two genders at the beginning, and the _corruption_ of this natural created order does not _eliminate_ this natural created order. It does not change what God called “very Good,” anything other than what God called “very Good,” simply is not. People are born with all kinds of heart congenital conditions, but that does not change what a heart is, or what a heart is supposed to do, nor does it make it impossible to establish what a healthy, normal heart looks like.

Mankind has to decide whether we will submit to God’s plan, or our own regarding gender, marriage, culture, the earth, religion, and family.

4. How should the Christian Respond?

Rejoice in God’s plan of having two genders.

Do not go along with trying to erase all differences between male and female.
