2 Corinthians 13:5, "Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?"

Illustration—A few weeks ago, I took a little stroll through the graveyard’s here. I needed some quite time and wanted to reflect a little on my life. I couldn’t help but think of all the stories buried there.

As I passed the tombstones, I began reading the name and stories chiseled into the stones. Each stone represented a life of people just like you and me.

A.I noticed there a gravestone of a soldier in World War II,

B.I saw a stone with only two dates. No name. Just two dates, a couple of years apart.

C.I noticed a couple of stones with no markings. No name. No dates. What was their story?

D.I noticed a stone with just one date. This little child only saw life for one day.

E.I noticed another stone, and saw dates that were nearly 100 years apart.

F.I noticed graves of wonderful sayings like, “Wonderful father…great mother…you’ll be missed…I love you.”

Lessons Learned If the Graveyard Could Speak Today

1.Unless the Lord comes back, we will all be there one day.

a.Hebrews 9:27, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

2.What you do in this life will leave an impact on those around you.

3. After death, there is no coming back

How to Know You’re Saved

` 1. You have to realize that we don’t match up to God’s holiness. That we are a sinner and we need saving.

2. We have to repent and know that God’s way is the right way.

3. Believe on the LORD Jesus Christ.

4. Live out your faith. Love others. Fellowship with believers. Share your fai
