1 John 1:9 (Amplified Bible)

If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

2 Corinthians 5:21 (Amplified Bible)

For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

Isaiah 54:14 (Amplified Bible)

You shall establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God’s will and order): you shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you.

Matthew 15:18 (King James Version)

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

A. Whatever comes out of the mouth, comes from the

"But whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart,"

Proverbs 15:2 (Amplified Bible)

The tongue of the wise utters knowledge rightly, but the mouth of the [self-confident] fool pours out folly.

Proverbs 15:28 (Amplified Bible)

The mind of the [uncompromisingly] righteous studies how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.

1 Peter 3:15 (Amplified Bible)

But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledge Him] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully.

James 3:6 (Amplified Bible)

And the tongue is a fire. [The tongue is a] world of wickedness set among our members, contaminating and depraving the whole body and setting on fire the wheel of birth (the cycle of man’s nature), being itself ignited by hell (Gehenna).

We set our hearts apart as holy and acknowledges always the LORD. Always being ready to share the gospel to every people.

B. This is what makes a man unclean

"and this is what makes a man unclean and defiles [him]"

Matthew 15:11 (Amplified Bible)

It is not what goes into the mouth of a man that makes him unclean and defiled, but what comes out of the mouth; this makes a man unclean and defiles [him].

Proverbs 10:32 (Amplified Bible)

The lips of the [uncompromisingly] righteous know [and therefore utter] what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked knows [and therefore speaks only] what is obstinately willful and contrary.

Proverbs 6:12 (Amplified Bible)

A worthless person, a wicked man, is he who goes about with a perverse (contrary, wayward) mouth.

Nothing can make a man unclean except what comes out of him. That is guard our hearts not our mouth before it's too late. If it comes out of our mouth, it's already too late, we have already said it. While in the heart, let the LORD fix our heart.

Proverbs 4:23 (Amplified Bible)

Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.
