From Darkness To Light Series

1 Peter 2:9 says But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Jesus Christ is the light of the world without whom the world will be in complete darkness.

Every man born of a woman even in birth is a sinner. David said in (Psalms 51:5) Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

The Bible says in Romans 3:23 All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Sin represents darkness. Every sinful habit and lifestyle are works of the devil. Habits that are injurious to man's wellbeing are all works of the Devil. Unfortunately, these are the things of the world for the Bible says in (1 John 2:16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

The good news is that Jesus is that light, the very saviour of the whole world.

John 10:10 says the thief cometh not, but to kill, to steal and to destroy, but Jesus the Light says I have come to give life and give it much more abundantly.

Jesus is saying I have come to redeem you from the evils of the world.

The good news is that Jesus is calling you to come out of that darkness of death, shame and addiction into the abundant life that only Him alone can give.

Jesus says

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Today, Jesus is calling you to come out of the darkness of sinful life into his marvelous light of eternal life.

Call on Him now and pray this prayer of salvation. Lord Jesus, I come to you, a sinner that I am, come into my life and be my Lord and personal Saviour as I confess that I am Born Again in Jesus name. Thank you Jesus for saving me.
