Fresh Revelation Of Jesus
Contributed by Samuel M on Feb 16, 2026 (message contributor)
Summary: Maybe difficult seasons are ordained by God for finding a fresh or unique revelation of Jesus, that will benefit not only us but also others. Maybe God has planned challenging / difficult seasons to bring us a new or special revelation of Jesus.
When God wants to bring his people out of difficulties, He does by giving a fresh revelation of His son Jesus. This revelation of Jesus gives us hope, assurance and most importantly performs a miracle. All through the bible we see the same pattern.
The revelation of God as Immanuel came at the time when Israelites were going through war (Isaiah 7:14). There are so many examples like that. God starts his miracle in our difficulties or valleys by giving a revelation of his son Jesus, and this revelation of Jesus comforts, sustains us (during the waiting time) and prepares us for the miracle.
Everyone in their difficult seasons, will surely find a unique revelation of Jesus, such as Jesus our comforter, healer, and so on, which will support, uplift, and rescue them. This revelation will be unique and specific to that individual’s problem or need. They will experience this revelation of Jesus giving life to their difficult circumstances; it won't just be a theory. This unique revelation of Jesus becomes our blessing in all seasons. Maybe difficult seasons are ordained by God for finding a fresh or unique revelation of Jesus, that will benefit not only us but also others. Maybe God has planned challenging / difficult seasons to bring us a new or special revelation of Jesus.
When God tested Abraham in Genesis 22, maybe his intention was not to slain Abraham’s son Issac but was to reveal his son Jesus (as the eternal lamb to be sacrificed) and reveal his nature as Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. In this instance he provided the lamb for the sacrifice. This was the first sign or indication of Jesus, the son of God coming as the lamb to be sacrificed. One testing /difficulty created an avenue for God to reveal his eternal plan, which was the coming of Jesus the Son of God to die on the cross in order to atone for everyone's sins.
Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided. Genesis 22:13-14
Abraham experienced that on that mountain of the Lord it will be provided. This promise or revelation of God – Jehovah Jireh was not meant only for Abraham but for entire humanity. What the Lord will provide – is a revelation of his son Jesus and this revelation gives us hope and ultimately performs the miracle. The Lord will provide - His son Jesus for all our needs and provisions. The Lord will provide his son Jesus, and he himself is the miracle. The Lord will provide an understanding of his son Jesus to cater for all our needs. The Lord will provide – His unique deeper revelation of His son Jesus that brings life and will sustain us in all seasons.
