Summary: This is different from 1 Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4 (offices)
v. 1 present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship
v. 2 do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind
v. 3 not to think more highly of ourselves than we ought to; we need to be humble
v. 4 we, who are many are one body in Christ

prophecy - an immediate message from God
service - identify unmet needs of God's work
teaching - communicate information of God
exhorting - minister words of comfort of God
giving - contribute their material resources
leading - set goals with God's purpose
mercy - feel genuine empathy and compassion
