FORWARD FOR CHRIST

Phil. 3: 10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

11If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

12Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

We need to move forward faster and firm footing. So that each inch of ground gained will stand the test of the last days.

(1) You must forget the past Ver.14

The woeful test of past sins

The worldly time of fleshly slavery

The wrong turns since you were saved

(2) You must forgive every persecutions

Forgive yourself of past failures

Forgive others of their faults

Fortitude enough also to keep your faith

(3) Have faith in the promises

2Peter 1: 4Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

The great binding promises

The guaranteed blessed presence

The grand and beautiful prize

(4) You must find your place

Romans 12: 1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

May seem small in you estimation

But is sacred in the Lords employment

So serve sincerely with all your energy

(5) You must follow the precepts

1Peter 2: 1Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

2As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

The path is well marked

The profession must not be marred

The performance must be magnified

(6) There must be forgiveness and pardon

1John 1: 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Experienced by confession to Christ

Exemplify your faith as a Christian

Encourage others to follow your counsel

(7) The future is Gods paradise

Rev.21: 23And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

The love of God fully realized

The loss of beauty finally restored
