I. EXORDIUM:

How well are you protected from your enemies and your haters?

II. AUDIENCE PROFILE:

Believers

III. OBJECTIVES:

To show that we are strengthened by the LORD in front of our enemies and the LORD is there to save and deliver us.

IV. TEXT:

Jeremiah 15:20 (Amplified Bible)

15:20 And I will make you to this people a fortified, bronze wall; they will fight against you, but they will not prevail over you, for I am with you to save and deliver you, says the Lord.

Supporting verses:

Psalms 109:25-29 (Amplified Bible)

109:25 I have become also a reproach and a taunt to others; when they see me, they shake their heads.

109:26 Help me, O Lord my God; O save me according to Your mercy and loving-kindness!—

109:27 That they may know that this is Your hand, that You, Lord, have done it.

109:28 Let them curse, but do You bless. When adversaries arise, let them be put to shame, but let Your servant rejoice.

109:29 Let my adversaries be clothed with shame and dishonor, and let them cover themselves with their own disgrace and confusion as with a robe.

If the people that hate us are covered with mischief on their scalp, wickedness on their head and disgrace as clothing and confusion as robe.

Know therefore and recognize that this is an evil and bitter thing: [first,] you have forsaken the Lord your God; [second,] you are indifferent to Me and the fear of Me is not in you, says the Lord of hosts.

Jeremiah 31:33 (Amplified Bible)

31:33 But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, says the Lord, I will put My law within them, and on their hearts will I write it; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Our enemies will fight against us but they will not prevail over us.

"And I will make you to this people a fortified, bronze wall; they will fight against you, but they will not prevail over you,"

Fortified or "batsar" in Hebrew meaning:

1. to gather grapes

2. to be isolated

3. inaccessible by height or fortification

4. mighty things, restrain, strong, wall (up), withhold.

Bronze, brasen or "nechosheth" in Hebrew meaning:

1. copper

2. brazen

3. brass

4. steel

Wall or "chomah" in Hebrew meaning:

1. to join

2. a wall of protection

3. walled

That's how GOD protected us, we are not protected by our steel gate or by our cctv cameras or security guards walking back and forth our establishments but by the LORD GOD Himself who has walled us with His Love like a strong steel around us ready to gather grapes (blood) of the wicked. The LORD GOD uses us as instrument to tread the grapes.

Revelation 14:20 (Amplified Bible)

14:20 And [the grapes in] the winepress were trodden outside the city, and blood poured from the winepress, [reaching] as high as horses’ bridles, for a distance of 1,600 stadia (about 200 miles).

Genesis 49:11 (Amplified Bible)

49:11 Binding His foal to the vine and His donkey’s colt to the choice vine, He washes His garments in wine and His clothes in the blood of grapes.

People of GOD protected against people that hate them:

1. Ezekiel against the rebellious house of Israel.

Ezekiel 3:9 (Amplified Bible)

3:9 Like an adamant harder than flint or a diamond point have I made your forehead; fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.

2. Peter against the rulers and elders of Israel. The LORD does this thru His HOLY SPIRIT in us by filling us with the HOLY SPIRIT.

Acts 4:8-13 (Amplified Bible)

4:8 Then Peter, [because he was] filled with [and controlled by] the Holy Spirit, said to them, Rulers of the people and members of the council (the Sanhedrin),

4:9 If we are being put on trial [here] today and examined concerning a good deed done to benefit a feeble (helpless) cripple, by what means this man has been restored to health,
