SEPTEMBER: PROCLAIM THE GOOD LIVING!

INTRODUCTION

Most heroes of our nation are heroes because they live not for themselves alone but they live for the sake of many. And by living for others they gave up their own lives. Christ live for us also and he wants us to do same.

In order to follow his model, we must...

I. DECIDE TO BE GOOD FOR OTHERS

A. God called you to be holy, 1 Peter 1:16

B. God commanded you to love others, Matthew 22:39

C. God commissioned you to become a living Bible, James 1:22-25

II. DESIRE THE SAME GOOD THINGS FOR OTHERS

A. God desires for all people to saved, 2 Peter 3:9

B. God desires for all nations to become His children, Genesis 12 (Abraham to become the father of many nations)

C. God sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous, Matthew 5:45

III. DISPENSE THE EQUAL BLESSINGS TO OTHERS

A. Forgive others as the Father forgives you, Matthew 6:12; 18:21-35

B. Give as the Lord gives you, Psalm 112:5; Proverbs 11:24; 22:9; 2 Corinthians 9:7

Do your giving while you’re living so you’re knowing where it’s going.

Unknown.

"Stop storing up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moths and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But keep on storing up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Matthew 6:19-21

C. Help others as the Lord reaches out to you

· You are not the only one asking for help. There are others who are crying for help. Open your ears and listen to their cries. Reach out and touch their loves with the blessings that God has given you.

CONCLUSION

A familiar Tagalog song says, “Walang sinuman ang nabubuhay para sa sarili lamang… tayong lahat ay tinipon ng Dios para sa isa’t isa.(No one lives for himself…God gathered us for each other)” God did not create man to alone; he created each of us for a purpose. That is, for us to live for one another. In other words also, we ought to live loving others. Because if we don’t we are not obeying the TEN COMMANDMENTS. Remember, when Jesus was asked about the greatest commandment, he said, “Love the Lord… and love your neighbor…” LIVE IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS.
