Summary: God has a plan for your life. There are times when God will ask you to do things that are difficult.

1. God determined a plan for you.

Jeremiah 29:11

11For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 1:5

5“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

2.You (not others) are called and chosen to do God's plan.

Esther 4:14

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

Matthew 22:14

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

1 Peter 2:9-10

9But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

10Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

3. SEIZE YOUR TIME – ACT ON IT.

Esther 4:16

16“Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”

• Even it may take your life – act on it.

• Redeem your time.

• Do the things that you must do today.

• carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero means 'pluck/seize the day, trusting as little as possible in the future'

Hebrews 3:13

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
