VIII. MAIN BODY:
1 Samuel 12:22 (New King James Version)
For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name's sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.
1 Samuel 12:22 (Amplified Bible)
The Lord will not forsake His people for His great name’s sake, for it has pleased Him to make you a people for Himself.
A. The LORD GOD will not forsake us for the sake of CHRIST JESUS's Name.
"The Lord will not forsake His people for His great name’s sake,"
Forsake or "natash" in the Hebrew language meaning "to pound, that is smite, to disperse, to thrust off, down, out, reject, let alone, permit, let fall, forsake, leave, suffer" The ALEPH-TAV signature of the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the Ending was placed after the word "forsake" giving it a special meaning. The LORD GOD was forsaken so we will not be forsaken.
Mark 15:34 (Amplified Bible)
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?—which means, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me [deserting Me and leaving Me helpless and abandoned]?
Psalms 22:1 (Amplified Bible)
To the Chief Musician; set to [the tune of] Aijeleth Hashshahar [the hind of the morning dawn]. A Psalm of David. MY GOD, my God, why have You forsaken me? Why are You so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?
The LORD JESUS CHRIST in His love for us changed places with us, instead of us being crucified, He took the suffering on Himself, by becoming not the lowest of slave - humans, but the sins of humans
2 Corinthians 5:21 (Amplified Bible)
For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].
ILLUSTRATION: I am amazed and often times cry at the unbelief of people around me. They don't lack the intelligence to accept what's written on the bible, but they devise philosophical ways to evade and not believe GOD'S WORDS but their own opinion, what they have been taught. I cry because I know they will regret their decisions in hell, not to accept the LORD JESUS is a nightmare. They will regret their decisions of not accepting the LORD JESUS, for He is the Only Way to be saved.
