VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Into GOD's Love

"May the Lord direct your hearts into [realizing and showing] the love of God"

Deuteronomy 6:5 (Amplified Bible)

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might.

Deuteronomy 10:12 (Amplified Bible)

And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you but [reverently] to fear the Lord your God, [that is] to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being,

Psalms 31:23 (Amplified Bible)

O love the Lord, all you His saints! The Lord preserves the faithful, and plentifully pays back him who deals haughtily.

The focus of our heart as GOD directs it is into His Love, there's nothing more permanent. Don't brag about our love for GOD, remember Apostle Peter, but denied CHRIST three times, because man cannot be trusted and can't validate what they say, trust, boast about, brag about and talk about GOD's Love for us in CHRIST JESUS.

Matthew 22:37-40 (Amplified Bible)

And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect).

This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.

And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.

These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.

B. Into CHRIST's Perseverance

"and into the steadfastness and patience of Christ and in waiting for His return"

Romans 12:12 (Amplified Bible)

Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer.

Hebrews 10:36 (Amplified Bible)

For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.

James 1:4 (Amplified Bible)

But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

James 5:7-8 (Amplified Bible)

So be patient, brethren, [as you wait] till the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits expectantly for the precious harvest from the land. [See how] he keeps up his patient [vigil] over it until it receives the early and late rains.

So you also must be patient. Establish your hearts [strengthen and confirm them in the final certainty], for the coming of the Lord is very near.

Our patience and perseverances models on the LORD JESUS CHRIST because He persevered until death, an infinite example for all of us.

Philippians 2:8-9 (Amplified Bible)

And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!

Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name,

IX. CONCLUSION:

The focus of our heart, namely: (a) GOD's love for us, (b) CHRIST's Perseverance.
