FIVE BIBLICAL STEPS WHEN MAKING A DECISION

THAT WILL PLEASE THE LORD

ASK YOURSELF

1. DOES IT VIOLATE CLEAR TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE?

(2 TIM3:16,17)

A. The Bible is Inspired.

B. The Bible is Instructive.

C. The Bible is Intrusive.

2. DOES IT CAUSE MY BROTHER TO STUMBLE IN HIS FAITH?

(1 Cor 8) (Some people may not like you are something you do but that does not stumble them in their faith. Be careful not to stumble anyone in their faith.)

A. Will my actions cause them to be Hindered in their walk.

B. Will my attitudes cause them to Hesitate in their walk.

Paul made it clear if it cause anyone to stumble he would not eat meat agian. What will you do?

3. DOES IT VIOLATE MY BODY AS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?

(1Cor 6:19, Rm 12:2)

A. Your body is a gift from God.

B. Your body is the temple of God.

C. Your body has been bought by God.

D. Your body is to glorify God.

4. DOES IT VIOLATE THE EXPRESSED WILL OF YOUR SPIRITUAL BOSS?

(Eph 5 and 6)

A. Parents are to obey Christ.

B. Children are to obey Parents.

C. All are to obey God the Father.

D. Employees are to obey employer.

5. DOES IT TRULY GLORIFY GOD AND CAN YOU TRULY ASK GOD TO BLESS IT? ( 1 Cor 10:31 and Rm 14 )
