Good morning, brothers and sisters. Today, we're going to dive into a pivotal passage from the book of Exodus, specifically Exodus 20:12-14, where God presents us with Commandments five through seven. These commandments aren't just rules for us to follow, but they show us how to honor God by being like Jesus to others and illustrate the importance of living out the commandments in our lives.
Let's read the scripture together from Exodus 20:12-14, "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you. You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery." Each of these commandments holds significant teachings for us, and our task is to unpack, understand, and live them out in our daily lives.
