Exodus 6: 6Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

7And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

8And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

Bring you out from your burdens

Bring you out from your bandage

Set you free from all your past

Rid you of your past

2. I will rid you of their bondage

Redemption from those who wrong you

My arm of love will pick you up

The arm of grace is open to you

I have you in my hands

3. I will take you for my people

You are a selected people

I will be your God

You shall know I am the Lord

4. I will bring you in admission

You admit that I am your God

You will tell all that your God did this for us

You will admit your sins and ask forgiveness

You will know that I love and forgive

5. I will give it to you a heritage

The land is yours

It was for others but now it is yours

God feels all our needs

No matter what he has the answer
