Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas
In times of trouble, temptation, and transgressions, we can find hope and trust in God. He will guide us through our trials and make a way for us.
GOD WILL MAKE A WAY IN YOUR TIME OF TROUBLE, TRIALS, TEMPTATION, TRUSTING, AND TRANSGRESSIONS.
GOD WILL MAKE A WAY - ISAIAH 43:10-19
In this passage, we see the phrase "make a way" mentioned in verse 16 and verse 19. Throughout the history of Israel, God consistently made a way for them. He made a way for them to escape Egypt, cross the Red Sea, journey through the wilderness, and enter the promised land. Just as He made a way for them, He can make a way for us in any situation. Our God is powerful and unchanging.
Psalm 50:15 says, "Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Even if you don't currently have any troubles, it's important to remember this message for future reference. Job and Paul, two great men in the Bible, faced numerous troubles, but God made a way for them. When we encounter trouble, we can call upon God and trust that He will deliver us.
1 John 3:13 reminds us not to be surprised if the world hates us. The world hated Jesus, and it will hate us too. If we stand for the things of the Lord, the world will oppose us. We should take inspiration from the courage of individuals like John Huss, who remained steadfast in their faith even in the face of trials and persecution.
1 Corinthians 10:13 assures us that no temptation has overtaken us except what is common to mankind. God is faithful and will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. He will provide a way out so that we can endure it. When we face temptation, we must rely on God's Word and not give in to the sinful desires of the world.
Psalm 34:6 says, "This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles." When we put our trust in God and seek Him through prayer, He will make a way for us in our time of need. We can look to the examples of prayer throughout history, such as the Mayflower's safe journey or the Constitutional Convention's success, to see how God answers the prayers of His people.
Psalm 32:1 declares, "Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered." When we have sinned and fallen short, we can turn to God for forgiveness. Just as a little boy with dirty hands needs both hands cleaned, we must let God cleanse our hearts from sin. We should not delay in seeking His forgiveness and surrendering our lives to Him.
I am grateful that God can make a way for us in times of trouble, trials, temptation, trusting, and transgressions. He is always there to deliver us and provide a way out. Let us remember to call upon Him, trust in His Word, and seek His forgiveness when we fall short. Our God is faithful and will make a way for us in every situation.
