Summary: Be wise be filled with the Spirit of our living God.
FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
Eph.5: 15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Listen to what Jesus said in the word.
Matthew 7:11
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Luke 11:13
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
1. Others would see Jesus in you.
Are people seeing you carnal?
Are do they see a spirit filled person
Do they see a difference?
Are just the same
2.Would we love the things of God
If we are filled with the Holy Spirit
The Bible our must loved book
Prayer is our most welcome exercise
The Gospel is sweetest message to us
3.We would be ready for service
Christ started his ministry when the Spirit came on him
Acts10: 38How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
He was anointed of God
4. We would have zeal for his work
Not satisfied with just coming to church
We would want to be apart
We would want to be he spokesman
5. Correct all our attitude
Look deep in our heart
Look at bad feelings
Look at our actions
Look at all members see if we may have grudges
Why not attend Sunday school
What about midweek prayer meeting
We will rid ourselves of all that junk
6. Put Christ first in your life
Christ is some where in your life
Where is he in your life
First place he should be before any one else
Get rid of that bad attitude
7. We now can glorified God in all we do
1st Cor. 31Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
