Fighting Daily: Prayers To Break The Teeth Of The Ungodly

Psalm 56:1: "Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he FIGHTING DAILY oppresseth me".

ISAIAH 41:15: "Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument HAVING TEETH: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff."

PSALM 3:7: "Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for you have smitten all my enemies on the cheek bone; you have broken the teeth of the ungodly."

Before we go into this short message, take these battle cries with me now:

• * FROM TODAY O LORD, LET MY PRAYER UTTERANCE CARRY A BITE WITH AUTOMATIC RESPONSE!!! IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
• * MY BATTLE CRY: RECEIVE NEW SHARP TEETH TO TEAR MY ENEMIES AND THRESH EVERY MOUNTAIN BEFORE ME!!! IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
• * EVERY PROBLEM CHALLENGING MY LIFE, FALL LIKE CHAFF UNDER THE POWER OF MY TONGUE, I BLOW YOU AWAY WITH THE EAST WIND OF THE HOLY GHOST!!! IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

What kind of stubborn enemy is that who fights you daily? Does that mean he was not defeated yesterday and therefore came back today to continue the battle? Or could it be that when one was defeated today, another rose up tomorrow to sustain the previous battle?

Whatever your conclusion is on this, I have come to understand in spiritual warfare a strange battle called "The battle of the mouths". Your mouth is not meant for eating physical delicacies alone. Your mouth should be a consecrated altar of power! Everything that thrives or dies around you should depend on the power that comes from your tongue!!! Your mouth should not be the habitation of educated lies and gossip.

One wise man once said that, if God should open our eyes to see the battles that are being waged continually against our destiny by the enemies of our soul, we would wake up from slumber and would never want to go to sleep again, never!

The nature of the battle we face in life is graphically painted in the anchor scripture of Psalm 56:1. A swallowing enemy, that is waging daily war against us. His mouth must, no doubt, be very big. What that means is that an enemy that employs the weapon of the tongue to wear-out and 'finish' your prospects and accomplishments, even before you begin to experience the testimonies.

How does he do this daily? By incantations and enchantments. By curses, casting of spells, false accusation, causing accidents (domestic and others) that spill your blood, whispering doubts into your hearts, etc.

This is the worst kind of battle that any man can face. It is a silent battle that is not easily noticed. Many of us have been found wanting, in this aspect of spiritual warfare. It is a war that we are so ignorant of, and have ignored to our daily perils.

Many-a-time, the outcome of the actual battle had been predetermined by the verbal midnight chants that had gone forth to tilt the victory in favor of the enchanter. Many battles that were won or lost during the day-time were first fought at midnight seasons, before the dawn of each day. That is why Job 38:12 admonished us to take control of each day from the day-spring (i.e. from dawn). Only those who win in the night battles take charge as "Commanders" during the day.

PRAYER POINTS

1. O Lord, touch my tongue with Your coal of fire!!! PURGE my iniquities by fire!!! in the name of Jesus.
2. Power to decree a thing and it will be established, fall upon me now!!! in the name of Jesus.
3. It is written (Psalm 58:6): "Break the teeth in their mouths, O God; tear out, O LORD, the fangs of the lions!" Therefore, every teeth of the lion of darkness, assigned against me, B-R-E-A-K TO PIECES, in the name of Jesus.
4. It is written (Job 29:17): "I broke the jaws of godless oppressors and plucked their victims from their teeth." Therefore, every power swallowing my blessings, LOSE your teeth and VOMIT them now!!! in the name of Jesus.
5. O God arise and save me from the teeth of the wicked! in the name of Jesus.
6. Hammer of God, Arise and break the cheekbone of every enchanter assigned against my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
7. Dark incantations designed to capture my glory, perish by fire!!! in the name of Jesus.
8. Every power assigned to make me weep and gnash my teeth, you are a liar! FAIL by Fire!!! in the name of Jesus.
