There is a place we can come to and not be turned away. I believe that wonderful place is found at the feet of Jesus. From to Old to the New Testament we find wonderful descriptions of events taking place at His feet. What is so wonderful is to remember we can always draw near to the Lord! (John 6:37 KJV) All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Let us look at several of these occurrences found at His feet in the Word.

B. Years ago, I heard of a mother pleading mercy for her guilty son. The General said he did not deserve mercy. She said “General if he deserved it, it would not be mercy.

IV. His feet are a portrait of a place of Hope.

A. This mother found hope for her daughter at the feet of Jesus.
B. Hopeless is the worst of all human emotions.
C. You can find home today at His feet.
V. Coming to the feet of Jesus is coming to a place of power.
A. I remember preaching on a wagon in Africa where hundreds of Africans, in a single service, came to the Living Christ and found help in time of need.
Matt 15:30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: Matt 15:31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel. .
VI. We see that the feet of Jesus are also a place of suffering.
Ps 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the
wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
A. Pastor Allen in Ohio, had a vision or dream of Jesus after having a heart attack and a split in his church. The only thing he asked the Lord when he saw him was why Jesus was wearing sandals? He heard Jesus say" I have come a long way for you and the road has not been easy"
