Summary: Life is not always measured by failures and successes? Often we measure life by how many times we try? Get up and try again.

FATIGUED---DUE SEASON: PREDICAMENT... DILEMMA... PERSISTENT

Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com

I HAVE A METAL COAT HANGER. I keep bending and bending it. It will break after many times.

Robert Wise tells on an experience that he had. Seems a friend called him every Monday morning.

The call went something like this: HELLO, THIS IS GOD. I HAVE A GIFT FOR YOU TODAY. I WANT TO GIVE YOU THE GIFT OF FAILING. TODAY YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SUCCEED. I GRANT YOU THAT.

This is the pure Gospel: GOD'S LOVE SAYS TO BELIEVERS, IT IS OK IF YOU FAIL. JUST BE YOU.

IF YOU FALL GET UP AND TRY AGAIN...

DO WE UNDERSTAND THE WORD FATIGUE?

BEING TIRED AND FATIGUED MAKES HEROS TO BE COWARDS...

FATIGUE: WEARY, EXHAUSTION TO CAUSE ONE TO LOSS POWER AND DESIRE TO QUIT.

The state of being tired, extreme weariness. The tendency to break after being bent many times.

Galatians 6:7 (MSG) Don't be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!— 8 harvests a crop of weeds. All he'll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God's Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. 9 So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit. 10 Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.

UNDERSTAND DUE SEASON OR DIVINE TIMING...

Galatians 6:9 (KJV) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Galatians 6:9 (NIV) Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9 (NLT) So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Galatians 6:9 (MSG) So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit.

DUE SEASON? We live is a day of instant! Microwave? Instant mashed potatoes no peeling. Instant coffee one cup at a time? WE DESIRE INSTANT GRATIFACATION!

Psalm 104:27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

It is amazing what we can remember. Remember the commercial of the old lady looking at the bun and saying:

WHERE IS THE BEEF?

Remember the sad commercial of the old lady laying on the ground and saying: I HAVE FALLEN AND I CAN'T GET UP!

That is a sad predicament.

Many times in life we face persistent, difficult problems. Often our choices and options can be distressing and painful.

PERDICAMENT: a difficult or unpleasant situation.

A TRYING OR DIFFICULT OR PERPLEXING SITUATION.

DILEMMA: a hard situation in which you have to make a difficult choice. Often an unpleasant choice.

PERSISTENT: To continue to try to do something that is difficult and facing many obstacles trying to force you to stop.

To exist for a long time with little real change. to refuse to be interrupted, refuse to be hindered.

MANY TIMES IN LIFE WE BUILD ON INVALID CONCLUSIONS.

One such conclusion is: WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GETS GOING.

This is probably not true. THE HONEST ANSWER IS: IT IS EASIER TO QUIT THAN CORRECT?

WE SEEM TO WANT TO FOCUS ON OUR FAILURES... GOD SAYS: FOCUS ON YOUR THE BATTLE --- YOU CAN WIN...

FAILURE MIGHT BE ABOUT WHO YOU TALK TO...

ASK SHIMEI AS DAVID IS CROSSING THE RIVER IN A FERRY BOAT...

SHIMEI CURSES DAVID AND THROWS ROCKS AT HIM...

SHIMEI WAS SAUL'S FAMILY AND HE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE PALACE.

SHIMEI KNEW DAVID'S FAILURES, HE HEARD THE RUMORS AND HE SPREAD THEM...

DAVID WRITES PSALMS 51... THE GREATEST CHAPTER IN THE BIBLE ON REPENTANCE.

DAVID PENS THE WORDS: THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD...

DON'T LISTEN TO SHIMEI?

LET US ASK GOD ABOUT DAVID?

Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

GOD SAYS: I KNOW DAVID AS A FRIEND! DAVID KNEW HOW TO FALL FORWARD.

I WOULD LOVE TO TEACH MY SONS AND MY FRIENDS:

SONS, FAIL FORWARD... FAILURE CAN BE A GREAT TEACHER.
