FALLEN BEHIND ENEMY LINES

1Peter 5:5 – 11

Have you found yourself behind enemy lines? You might not know exactly how you got there but somewhere you got off course. You do not have to get off course with a wide turn to be off course a long way further down the road.

If you have fallen behind enemy lines we are coming to get you tonight because you are one of ours and you do not belong in the enemy’s hands.

(prayer)

I do not know how we get off course sometimes. It looks like we are going in the right direction; the right path and we are doing our best.

I do believe I have found part of the reason in verses 5 &6.

1Pe 5:5 ¶ Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all [of you] be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Humbleness is almost something of the past. We preach more about self-esteem today than we do humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God,

When we are not fulfilling God’s commission in our life, taking this gospel to all the world beginning in your backyard, we are usually complaining.

Complaining about the preacher.

People that are busy doing the Great Commission are to busy to stop and complain.

Here is what they are doing.

1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Have you fallen behind enemy lines tonight, I hear a message over the Holy Ghost air waves tonight CAST ALL YOUR CARE UPON HIM, FOR HE CARETH FOR YOU.

1Pe 5:8 ¶ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Our adversary is a predator tonight. He seeks you out and studies you, looking for that weak spot. He looks for that sheep that is starting to get off course just a little. Because the further he goes he will soon be a loner and that will be the right time for the adversary to attack.

1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. :10 ¶ But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].

:10 ¶ But the God of all grace,

after that ye have suffered a while

After you thought He had given up on you.

“””””””””””””””there is no use for you because you can not live it, I can’t either. That’s why I need the comforter in my life.

That’s where I need THE GOD OF ALL GRACE.

To make be perfect, stablish, strengthen and settle me.

Have you fallen behind Enemy Lines,

I hear the sound of the warriors in Gods army a mighty host full of the power of God coming to lift you above the shadows and place you in the presence of God. In the fullness of His mercy, grace and loving compassion.

I can also hear a celebration in the camp of the army of God because of the rescue of one fallen behind enemy lines.

They say the American motto is we do not we are fellow soldiers behind, the saints of God should rally up and step to the plate.

Don’t kick them when they are down, reach out with a helping hand.

This thing called the Church is not about you or me and our selfish Ideals but it is all about His great Commission.

Php 2:14 ¶ Do all things without murmuring and disputing:

Do all things without complaining and fussing.

I do not know why we find ourselves behind enemy lines but sometimes we do.

Tonight there is a reconnaissance team out looking for you.

They are honing in on your position and with just a little help from you they will bring in back into the ship of safety tonight.

If you’re not serving Christ tonight and you raised your hand come right now.
