Contributed by Scott Delashaw on Jan 2, 2010 (message contributor)
Summary: This message speaks to the past, present, and future. A good word for January.
* We enter a New Year, decade, and continue into a young century.
* Time has past, present, and future tenses in our language
but time has 3 dimensions in relation to our life.
* As a christian we can utilize and benefit from a periodic examination
of where weve been, where are and where we are attempting to go.
WE SHOULD BE:
I. USING DOWNFALLS AND FAILURES FROM THE PAST
A. Leave failure in the past.
B. Learn from failure in the present ( Failures only positive use)
C. Lost people have squandered opp. by failing to recieve Christ
II. IDENTIFYING OUR DRIVING FORCE AT THE PRESENT
A. Is it acceptable to God
B. Is it advancing my character towards the charachter of Christ
III. PLANNING A DEDICATED FUTURE.
A. Make plans that involve worship, work and witness for Jesus
