Good Morning
Stand with me and lift up your bible and repeat after me.
This is my Bible.
I am what it says I am.
I can do what it says I can do.
I am going to learn how to be what it says I can be.
Today I will learn more of the word of God.
The indestructible, never ending, living word Of God.
I will never be the same.
I will never be the same.
In Jesus Name
I have a question?
Do you need some strength?
Turn with me in your bible to the book of Ephesians Chapter 3 and say, “Amen” when you are there.
Read with me starting at verse 14
Ephesians 3:14-21
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what [is] the width and length and depth and height-- 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Can you use a little loving right now?
Is life not quite headed in the direction you had hoped for?
With all that is going on in the world right now if you said, “Yes”, you might want to look in the mirror at yourself and say, “Whoa.”
Things probably are not exactly going the way we want right now.
Some of us need to realize that it might be time to start spending a little more time with the One who loves us more than we will ever know. And will help us get through the tough times in life.
Here is an example for you to think about.
If you are member of a certain faith you spend time in ritualistic meditation and prayer five times per day. You also spend time in fasting several times during the year. It requires dedication and the willingness to give up time every day to get in the habit of doing this on a regular basis.
Many people in the world stop what they are doing and do this every day.
Members of this faith pray to a God that is not alive.
Our God is alive and well and loves being part of our lives even though we have free will to choose what we do with our relationship with Him. Your life and mine can change drastically when we take the time and work to start changing our lifestyle and our habits by putting Him first in our daily life.
Amen?
Our God is a loving God and He sent His son, Jesus, to be a part of our daily lives. Not just a quick prayer kind of like going to the express line at our local Walmart to pick up some milk or some bread and asking Him to get you out of there quickly.
He wants what we just read in the book of Ephesians;
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man
When we are in times of turmoil in our lives, He gives us strength. We just need to talk to Him during our day and He will give that inner piece even when it is not one of our better days.
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
We need to love others. And we need to love the person in the mirror.
When you are driving in your car and someone cuts in front of you into that parking place you were waiting for, just move on. God already has another spot picked out for you.
It is part of the plan. I am not the same person that I was before I accepted the love of God and asked His son, Jesus Christ to forgive me of my past to live in me forever and ever. Neither are you.
Some of us should not even be alive today with some of the things we have gone through but He wants us to be.
We also see changes in our life when we make a true commitment to Him.
