THE MESSAGE: BEHOLD, I WILL DO A NEW THING

1. A NEW PERSONALITY

The Lord desires to transform us into new individuals, enabling us to become all that He intends us to be. Just as Saul was changed into a different person when the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, God wants to give us a new identity. He wants to renew our minds and help us grow stronger, so we can overcome challenges and fulfill His purpose for our lives.

2. A NEW DEVOTION

God wants to elevate our level of devotion to Him. He desires to remove our hardened hearts and replace them with hearts that are receptive to His word and guided by His Spirit. With a new heart and spirit, we can obey His commandments and live according to His will.

3. A NEW SET OF VALUES

God wants to give us new principles to follow, aligning with His plans for our lives. Just as Peter was instructed not to consider anything unclean that God had made clean, we may need to change our principles and practices to align with God's ways. Sometimes, God's new work may challenge our traditions and cherished principles, and we must be willing to let go of them if they contradict what God wants to do.

4. A NEW DIRECTION

God wants to lead us in new pursuits. He desires us to seek heavenly blessings and eternal rewards, rather than solely focusing on earthly desires. Just as Jesus transformed the disciples' fishing careers into a mission of catching people for the Kingdom of God, He wants to redirect our pursuits and give us new passions aligned with His purposes.

5. A NEW PROVISION

God wants us to experience His abundant provision in our lives. He desires us to have unwavering faith, knowing that if He sacrificed His Son for us, He will surely provide everything else we need. We must trust in His faithfulness and believe that He will answer our prayers according to His perfect will.

6. A NEW REPUTATION

God wants to bring new blessings and honor into the lives of those who have faced shame and humiliation. He desires to change their reputation from being forsaken and desolate to being known as people whom God has blessed. He will give them a new name that reflects their elevated status and the work He has done in their lives.

7. A NEW POWER

God wants to fill us with His divine power. He desires us to live a life empowered by His Spirit. However, we must be willing to become new vessels, like new wineskins, to receive the new wine of His power. If we cling to old ways and remain unchanged, we cannot fully experience the newness and abundance of God's power in our lives.
