Today, we're celebrating Easter! You know what that means, right? Jesus is alive! He's risen from the dead, and that's a big deal for all of us. We're gonna see how Jesus' love changes everything in our lives.
So, let's start with a cool object lesson. I've got this crown here, but it's not just any crown - it's made of thorns. Ouch, right? This is like the crown that was put on Jesus' head when he was crucified. People didn't believe he was the real King, so they mocked him with this painful crown. But guess what? Jesus showed them who's boss and he rose from the dead!
In Matthew 27:32-42, we read about Jesus being crucified and people making fun of him, calling him the 'King of the Jews.' They didn't get it - Jesus really is the King of everything! But sometimes, we struggle with letting Jesus be the King of our lives. We want to be in control, but we need to let Jesus take the wheel.

Jesus didn't stay dead - he came back to life! That's what Easter is all about. Jesus' love for us was so strong that it beat death. In John 3:16, we learn that God loved us so much that he sent Jesus to die for us. And because Jesus rose from the dead, we can have eternal life with him!
Jesus wants us to share his love with others. In Matthew 28:18-20, he tells his followers to go and make disciples, teaching them about Jesus and his love. That's our job too! We need to let Jesus' love reign in our lives and share it with everyone we meet.
So, what does this all mean for us? It means we need to let Jesus be the King of our lives. We need to trust him, follow him, and share his love with others. And when we do that, we'll see amazing things happen.
