Proverbs 23:4-5 (Amplified Bible)
23:4 Weary not yourself to be rich; cease from your own [human] wisdom.
23:5 Will you set your eyes upon wealth, when [suddenly] it is gone? For riches certainly make themselves wings, like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.
Proverbs 23:4-5 (King James Version)
23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
23:5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
V. THESIS:
Praise, worship and thank You very much LORD JESUS for both the Blessor and the Blessing of the LORD is within me that made me truly rich.
Proverbs 10:22 (Amplified Bible)
10:22 The blessing of the Lord—it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].
1 Timothy 6:17 (Amplified Bible)
6:17 As for the rich in this world, charge them not to be proud and arrogant and contemptuous of others, nor to set their hopes on uncertain riches, but on God, Who richly and ceaselessly provides us with everything for [our] enjoyment.

"Weary not yourself to be rich; cease from your own [human] wisdom."
John 6:27 (Amplified Bible)
6:27 Stop toiling and doing and producing for the food that perishes and decomposes [in the using], but strive and work and produce rather for the [lasting] food which endures [continually] unto life eternal; the Son of Man will give (furnish) you that, for God the Father has authorized and certified Him and put His seal of endorsement upon Him.
1 Timothy 6:8-10 (Amplified Bible)
6:8 But if we have food and clothing, with these we shall be content (satisfied).
6:9 But those who crave to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish (useless, godless) and hurtful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction and miserable perishing.
6:10 For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs.
1 Corinthians 10:31 (Amplified Bible)
10:31 So then, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you may do, do all for the honor and glory of God.
Work is part of the curse in which GOD cursed Adam because of the fall of man so if you continue to work to be rich, then curse is upon you. But on the other hand if you recognize work/job as something to give glory, honor, thanksgiving and worship to GOD then you're free.
Genesis 3:17-19 (Amplified Bible)
3:17 And to Adam He said, Because you have listened and given heed to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it, the ground is under a curse because of you; in sorrow and toil shall you eat [of the fruits] of it all the days of your life.
3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth for you, and you shall eat the plants of the field.
3:19 In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you shall return.
B. Don't set your eyes on wealth.
"Will you set your eyes upon wealth, when [suddenly] it is gone? For riches certainly make themselves wings, like an eagle that flies toward the heavens."
Hebrews 12:2 (Amplified Bible)
12:2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Deuteronomy 8:18 (Amplified Bible)
8:18 But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
