Summary: God’s desire for His children that they should not give into temptations for He is their help and strength in time of need.
“Don’t Give In & Don’t Give Up”
1 Corinthians 10:13
1. Temptations that you encounter are of common EXPERIENCE to all people. (10:13a) Ephesians 6:12-13; James 1:13-15; Luke 22:31-32; 1 Peter 1:6-7; 4:12; 1 Thessalonians 3:2-4; Luke 4:1-13; 8:13; 1 Timothy 6:9-10
2. God will not allow temptations to EXCEED His limits concerning you. (10:13b) Lamentations 3:22-23; 1 Corinthians 1:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:24; 2 Thessalonians 3:3; Hebrews 10:23; Daniel 3:17; 2 Corinthians 1:10
3. God will always provide you with a way of ESCAPE when you are faced with temptations. (10:13c) Luke 22:46; 1 Peter 5:8-9; Revelation 3:10; 2 Peter 2:9; Genesis 19:20-21; Job 5:19; James 4:7
