Summary: You feel like what it says in a song, I went to bed on top of the world, and now the world on top of me!

Some of you have a major problem you are dealing with!

Some of you may have more than one problem!

You are wondering how you got into this situation, and all you can see is a long dark tunnel and you don’t even see a ray of light.

You keep asking yourself, “What am I going to do?”

You feel like what it says in a song, I went to bed on top of the world, and now the world on top of me!

Many of us have walked thru those valleys and have wept over hard aches, difficulties, struggles, trials that we didn’t think we could get thru.

We’ve laid in a bed at night and wondered, “God what are you going to do about this?” or “Lord, why don’t you do something?”

That’s why I find so much comfort in the words that Jesus cried out on the cross, “Why hast thou forsaken Me?”

If there’s sometimes you have felt this way, then God wants to speak to you!

Verse 27-Endured-hold on, strong, steadfast, to bear up under affliction, bear up under suffering courageously….Not, “Oh my, what is going to happen next!”

Endurance involves two things:

1-Patience-That I will stay at my post till God says move!

I’m not going to quit going to church, or reading my bible, or going to Sunday school, or giving my tithe, just because troubles come into my life, I’m going to hold fast to what I believe no matter what!

The three thrown in the fire! Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.

2-Time-I’m willing to bear up under the burden no matter how long it is!

Believing in my heart that the God who allowed me these circumstances into my life is the same God who will be with me if I don’t give up!

2 Tim. 2:3; 4:5 James 1:12-Temptation to do what? To give up, to turn away from God, to quit serving God!

God is going to bless us when we are willing to endure under the tremendous weight and burdens and heartaches that we have to face in this life.

Story of Moses-He was able to bear up under the strain of these things because he saw the Invisible One!

When you and I can see God in a situation, then we are not going to give up!

Winston Churchill-Never give up, Never give up, Never give up!
