Summary: Gift to all who will work for our Lord grace.
DON’T GET MISPLACED STAY IN GRACE
Acts 13: 43Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
Acts 14: 22Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
There is no end to the Christian calling. No place to stop, no place to quit for a quitter never wins.
1. Study the scriptures
2nd Tim.2: 15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
The Bible is our rule and guide
The Bible gives us stronger faith
We are a body of Christian believers
Gods business is the most important
2. Seeking the lost sinner
Mark2:
17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Compassion enough to weep
Concern enough to witness
Commitment enough to walk
3. Steadfast Christian service
Phil.1: 20According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.
21For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Give God first place
Going as the Gospel commands
Growing in Grace and Love
4. Stand for the Saviour
Phil.4: 8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Unashamed in your commitment
Unafraid with his courage
Uncompromising in your convictions
5. Strength to the saints
1st Tim.4: 14Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
Edify others in your faith
Encourage others by faithfulness
Enable others by your fidelity
6. Share your Salvation
Heb.3: 1Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Lost people need to see Christ in us
The low morally need a lift
The lost man woman boys are girl need Christ
7. Surrender old self
Isaiah 1: 18Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
There is a place for all to work
There is a power for us to witness
There is a pardon if you will
