DOING THE WILL OF GOD

Main Text: Matt 15:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my father which is heaven the same is my brother and sister and mother.

What is the will of God? This is the purpose, desire, wish, volition, inclination, and determination. In other words it is what the mind of God is disposed to.

Throughout the bible we have people who have walked successfully in the will of God. A good example is Enoch Gen 5:24 Enoch walked with God and he was not for God took him. Others are Job, Joseph, Elijah and Paul just to mention a few.

Ecc 7:29 Lo this only have I found that God made man upright but they have sought out many inventions.

TYPES OF WILL

1. WILL OF MAN

Lev 19:5 And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offering unto the Lord ye shall offer it at your own will.

2. WILL OF SATAN

2Tim 2:26 And they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil who are taken captive by him at his will.

3. WILL OF DEMONS

Luke 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places seeking rest and finding none. He saith I will return to my house where I came out.

4. WILL OF GOD.

1Thess 4:3 For this is the will of God even your sanctification, that ye may abstain from fornication.

TEN POWER POINTS OF THE WILL OF GOD

1. TRANSFORMATION OF MIND Romans 12:2 And be ye not conformed by this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

A driver’s license that is expired needs to be renewed. Some peoples mind are stale, spent and expired and It is my prayer that our Lord will transform our minds today.

2. SANCTIFICATION 1Thess 4:3 For this is the will of God even your sanctification, that ye may abstain from fornication.

3. THANKSGIVING 1Thess 5:18 In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

4. INTERCESSION Romans 8:27 He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the spirit because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

5. PROSPERITY 3 John 3:2 Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health as thy soul prospereth.

6. SALVATION John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me that everyone which seeth the son and believed on him may have everlasting life and I will raise him up at the last day.

7. PROPHESY 2 Peter 1:21 For prophesy came not in the old time by the will of man, but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

8. FELLOWSHIP Romans 15:32 That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God and may be refreshed with you.

9. EVANGELISM John 4:34-35 Jesus said unto them my meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work. Say not ye there are yet four months and then the harvest? Behold I say unto you lift up your eyes and look on the fields for they are white already to harvest.

10.OVERTHROWING THE WORKS OF SATAN. 1Peter 2:15 For so is the will of God that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.

The biggest challenge we face as believers is the inability to marry our works with our actions. I believe that’s why Jesus said “For whosoever shall do the will of my father”. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is not enough only to know the will of God, but it makes it complete when we do his will. It is my prayer that our God will release upon the body of Christ an anointing to do His will in Jesus Name.

PRAYER: I put to silence every Satanic noise keeping me out of the will of God in Jesus Name.
