Summary: Greedy People Pursue Money at Any Cost.

Many are obsessed with the greed of power, Acquisition, Hoarding, Entitlement, and Overspending. Greedy People have an excessive desire for material possessions, wealth, fame, gifts, and attention. Greed makes a man blind and foolish, and they are incapable of loving others genuinely. Greed is one of the deadly sin scriptures says and Greedy people are selfish, self-indulgent, Self-centred, self-absorbed, and can’t empathize with others. Many greedy people marry or promise to marry someone for their money rather than for true love. They value money, and material things more than relationships. For them, relationships don’t matter, and people are just commodities to them to earn money in an easy way.

Greedy people are more concerned with their individual happiness and are obsessed with buying luxury, and expensive brands than helping other people’s basic needs. Greedy people with money love to trample over the poor and needy without feeling any guilt. Greedy people are smart in evading their responsibility by offloading the costs to others. Greedy people idolize people who drive expensive cars, wear the latest-fashioned clothes, desire and live in luxurious homes, and have an entertainment-driven mindset to exploit people, go on vacations or trips, and spend money unnecessarily.

Jesus never had any luxurious stuff. Jesus himself cared for those in need by feeding the hungry and responding to people with compassion. Greedy People love the seats of honor in the banquets, shamelessly cheating good and innocent vulnerable people. In their greed, they will make up clever lies and manipulate you to get hold of your money. But they forget, God condemned them long ago, and their destruction is on the way.

Greed is the love of money, which is the root of all evil, eventually, they pierce themselves through with many sorrows. GREED IS THE CRY FOR MORE, MORE, MORE… AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHERS.

A person who is struggling with greed will want more wealth, power, possessions, and gratifications. These people can often hardly afford such items but when they have money, they love spending carelessly on expensive things that are popular and better quality to show off to others for their status.

People who only buy things made by famous labels are often called brand-conscious. People who buy things because they are high quality are called quality-conscious. Greedy people are brand-conscious people. They are never satisfied. truly believe that they deserve more, even if it comes at someone else’s expense. Greedy people are experts in manipulation. They are highly talented in taking credit for work done by others. our biggest enemy is greed entering inside our heart and mind. The spirit of greed leads us to a sense of lack, emptiness or insecurity, and develops as we turn toward money or things as a source of happiness, safety, or security.

How do you know that you are greedy?

When you begin to follow God for earthly gains and Feel that God is not enough. When you put your business first other than God and you start acquiring unnecessary property, wealth, money and start demanding more than you need or want. Helping people and expecting something in return. Loving others conditionally until they satisfy your needs and desires. Greedy people need to be self-controlled seeking first, the Kingdom of God and also to be contented with what God has blessed them and shouldn’t and they should not allow greed to rule over their lives.

Spirit of mammon, greed, and covetousness is a tempting voice of demonic evil spirits that works in selfish greedy people.

Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs” (1 Tim. 6:6-10). When people constantly want more than they have, it destroys them and others. Being Greedy is a Sure Way to Destroy Your Life because they have life-changing consequences. A desire for more than one needs or deserves, such as food, shelter, drink, wealth, or power is greediness. Proverbs 15:27 He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live. 27 Whoever is greedy for unjust gain troubles his own household, but he who hates bribes will live. 27 Try to make a profit dishonestly, and you get your family in trouble. Don't take bribes and you will live longer.
