Divorce: Been There, Done That, Now What? Series
Contributed by Dr. Lewis W. Gregory on Sep 22, 2015 (message contributor)
Summary: The purpose of this message is to: Summarize the necessary steps in divorce recovery. Evaluate incorrect attitudes in divorced persons, due to their divorce. Assist divorced persons in developing correct attitudes regarding their divorce.
In Matthew 19:3-9 Jesus talked about divorce and adultery. But Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, “Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.” John 8:11 Jesus made it clear that adultery was a sin, but certainly not the unpardonable sin. Therefore just like with any other sin, Jesus offered forgiveness with no condemnation. God's grace covers all our sins because of the cross of Christ.
