Summary: As we all desire to settle down in life and enjoy God's goodness, I hereby affirm that settlement is indeed possible if we let God have His way, as it is His promise to settle and establish us - as stated in 1 Chronicles 17:14.

Settlement means

? “an official agreement intended to resolve a dispute or conflict ...” (Google)

? As far as I am concerned, this is the best realm of settlement that anyone could wish for. I say this because, once upon a time, we were in conflict with God because of the fall of man in the garden of Eden, but through Jesus Christ who came to die for our sins, we became reconciled unto God. Jesus became our mediator, using his blood (Ephesians 1:7) to sign the agreement between us and God – that if we believe in Jesus we will not perish, but have everlasting life (Romans 5:12-21). This settlement was brought about from God, so it is divine (John 3:16).

? A state of resting from labor, journey or toiling

? Joseph is a good example of this type of settlement. He had struggled all his life, moving from family jealousy and hatred to serving in a foreign land and getting imprisoned there. God later settled him from the experiences of displacement, enslavement and imprisonment and moved him into the realm of peace, governance and blessings. (Gen. 39:4-6; 39:41; 41:50-52). I decree and declare that in the mighty name of Jesus, God will settle you, giving you rest from all your troubles. You too will settle down from your toiling. Yes, you will receive divine settlement.

? “a place, typically one that has hitherto been uninhabited, where people establish a community.” (Google)

? The final stage of divine settlement is to settle in the place where there is no more toiling, weeping, fear, darkness, war, lack, or any of such. The place is called HEAVEN. The place is so beautiful (Rev. 21:3-4,10-11, 24-26), you must be there. The only people who won’t get there or enjoy this divine settlement are shown in verse 8. May the Lord have mercy on us.

Divine favor is within your reach, if you are in Christ Jesus. Come to Jesus now, and He will give you rest. He said, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

Make the decision today for divine settlement. God bless you.
