Introduction
• 2025 holds divine potential for God’s people.
o God accelerates the fulfillment of His purposes through our obedience and faith.
• Scriptural Foundation: "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" (James 2:20, KJV).
o Our preparation must culminate in action, resulting in manifestation.
• Central Theme: God is moving with divine acceleration in 2025. Our faith, combined with our works, positions us to see extraordinary breakthroughs.
I. The Principle of Divine Acceleration
A. Biblical acceleration occurs when God fulfills His purposes in a faster timeline than expected, often exceeding human understanding. "For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness..." (Romans 9:28, KJV).
1. God hastens His plans when we are aligned with His will and prepared for our role.
B. Elijah and the Rain: After a prolonged season of drought, Elijah prayed, and God accelerated the rain’s arrival. "And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel." (1 Kings 18:45-46, KJV).
1. God's power enabled Elijah to run ahead of a chariot—an extraordinary example of acceleration.
C. God is calling His people to participate in this acceleration by preparing their hearts, stewarding their gifts, and aligning their priorities to His timing.
II. Preparation Demands Manifestation
A. Faith and preparation without corresponding action is incomplete. "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." (James 2:17, KJV).
1. Preparation in the spirit and work in the natural are both required to see God’s promises fulfilled.
B. Joseph’s Preparation: Despite years of hardship, Joseph’s diligence and faith positioned him to step into leadership when God accelerated his rise to power. "And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt." (Genesis 41:41, KJV).
1. His preparation enabled the manifestation of God’s plan at the right moment.
C. Reflect on areas where preparation is required on your part. How can discipline, prayer life, and stewardship of resources align you with God's momentum?
III. Recognizing and Responding to Divine Momentum
A. Spiritual sensitivity is key to recognizing the moments when God begins to accelerate His plans. "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?" (Isaiah 43:19, KJV).
B. The Early Church: After the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2, the church experienced exponential growth. "And the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls." (Acts 2:41, KJV).
1. This was divine momentum sparked by their obedience and prayerful preparation.
C. Seize opportunities for kingdom impact as God moves. Be adaptable, faithful, and willing to go where the Spirit leads—even at an accelerated pace.
IV. God’s Acceleration Brings Restoration
A. Restoration Unfolds Through Divine Speed: God’s acceleration is not only about advancement but also about the restoration of what was lost. "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you." (Joel 2:25, KJV).
1. When God moves in His timing, He is able to return in moments what seemed irretrievable for years.
B. Job’s Restoration: Job lost everything, yet when the season of restoration came, God acted swiftly to bless him abundantly. "And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before." (Job 42:10, KJV).
1. God’s ability to restore went beyond his initial wealth—Job’s life was a testimony of divine recompense.
C. Trust God to restore areas of your life that may seem beyond repair. Whether it is relationships, opportunities, or spiritual strength, divine acceleration brings healing and renewal. Position yourself in faith and obedience, knowing that His restoration will come in due time.
V. Divine Acceleration Requires Immediate Obedience
A. The Necessity of Prompt Action: When God initiates momentum, delayed obedience can cause missed opportunities. "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." (Ephesians 5:15-16, KJV).
1. Walking in wisdom means being prepared to act as soon as God moves.
B. Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch: In Acts 8, Philip was led by the Spirit to join the chariot of the Ethiopian eunuch. His immediate obedience led to the man’s salvation and baptism. "And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias..." (Acts 8:30, KJV).
1. God's acceleration was evident in Philip’s willingness to respond without hesitation.
C. Commit to being spiritually ready to act on God’s instructions quickly. This involves cultivating a daily practice of prayer, discernment, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
