This sermon explores Psalm 99, emphasizing God's holiness, greatness, and deeds, and encourages believers to trust and deepen their commitment to God.

Introduction

Grace, peace, and blessings to each one of you, my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. We find ourselves here once again, gathered in the sanctuary of the Lord, a place where we come to find solace, understanding, and the divine wisdom that only our Heavenly Father can provide.

This is a psalm of adoration, a hymn of praise, a song that exalts the holiness, greatness, and deeds of our God. As we turn our attention to this psalm, we are reminded of the words of the great preacher Charles Spurgeon, who once said, "To trust God in the light is nothing, but trust Him in the dark, that is faith."

Honoring God's Holiness

As we honor God's holiness, we are also called to reflect it in our own lives. We are called to be holy as He is holy. This is not about attaining moral perfection, but about aligning our hearts with His, about seeking to live in a way that pleases Him, that brings Him glory.
