Youth Sermon: Devoted to Fellowship

The First Christians

The first Christians, they were all about hanging out together. They ate together, prayed together, and learned about Jesus together. It was like a 24/7 Jesus party. And guess what? It was awesome.

Imagine you're a single Lego brick. On your own, you're cool, but there's only so much you can do. But when you connect with other Lego bricks, you can build something amazing. That's what fellowship is like. We're all different, but when we come together, we can do incredible things for God.

It was like a 24/7 Jesus party. And guess what? It was awesome.

What We Have in Common

We're all different, right? Different hobbies, different families, different schools. But we all have one big thing in common - Jesus. And when we hang out together, focusing on Him, we become a team. We're like a body, and each of us is a vital part.

Keep Getting Together

The enemy, he doesn't want us to hang out. He wants to keep us apart. But when we get together, focusing on Jesus, He's right there with us. The first Christians, they grew in numbers because they kept meeting up. We need to encourage each other and keep each other going.

Looking to Devour

The enemy, he's like a lion, prowling around, looking for someone to attack. He wants us to feel alone. But we're not. We're part of a massive family of believers all around the world.

Conclusion

So, what does this mean for us? It means we need to make time to hang out with other believers. If you're not doing that, think about why. Is there drama? Pray about it. Reach out to someone who might be feeling alone. Let's make our youth group a place where everyone feels welcome.

Prayer

God, help us to make hanging out with other believers a priority. Help us to get over any drama and focus on You. Make our youth group a place where everyone feels welcome. In Jesus' name, amen.
