DETHRONING THE SPONSORS OF SORROW, TERROR AND OPPRESSION

Who are sponsors of sorrow, terror and oppression? To sponsor something is to introduce and support its progress. That is, to actively provide funds, material or the energy required to propel something into fruition.

So those who sponsor sorrow, terror and oppression actively help to propagate sorrow, terror and oppression in the lives of others.

The Bible says why do the heathen rage in Psalm 2 of the Bible, specifically verse 1. It asks why the non-believers, or "heathens" in the KJV translation, are agitated and rebellious against God and his anointed one, Jesus Christ. The psalm highlights the kings and rulers of the earth opposing and conspiring against God, desiring to break free from His authority.

Sponsors of sorrow, terror and oppression want to see people of God, and those who are careless enough not to follow godly lives, suffer. It is just to oppose God.

Sorrow, terror and oppression is anything that brings unhappiness, despondency, discomfiture. Sadness.

Every onward Christian soldier must have in his/her quiver the ability to pray warfare prayers to ward of sponsors of sorrow, terror and oppression. Ahead of their plots and shenanigans and evil exploits.

“Oh, I have done nothing wrong, no one can sponsor sorrow, terror and oppression against me.” Well, confident Christian brother/sister, they can AND will, the more they see you are standing upright. Just ask Job. Satan was the sponsor of sorrow, terror and oppression in his life. Ask David, Saul was the sponsor of sorrow, terror and oppression in his life. Ask Hezekiah, King Sennacherib of Assyria was the sponsor of sorrow, terror and oppression in his life. Ask Elijah, Jezebel was the chief sponsor of sorrow, terror and oppression in His life. Ask Master Jesus, Satan thru Judas was the sponsor of sorrow, terror and oppression. Ask Hannah, Peninnah was the chief sponsor of sorrow, terror and oppression. Jabez’ mom was the sponsor of sorrow in his life. She named him after sorrow. The list is endless.

Whoever or whatever power wants to see you with your head bowed perpetually is the sponsor of sorrow, terror and oppression.

Whatever perpetuated negative actions that wants to see you curse your God and die is a sponsor of sorrow, terror and oppression.

Job got to a stage where he had the unenviable option to do just that. But his integrity was kept intact by his unwavering faith in the Master.

But just imagine what he had to go thru. The difference, I like to note is that there was no One sent on the explicit assignment to save him from that unwanted situation. No one to advocate for Him. I Always note Job 1. Did you see Jesus advocate for him. Let me read it out. Job 1 from verse 6-12. 6 One day the angels[a] came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan[b] also came with them. 7 The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”

Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”

9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”

12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man, himself do not lay a finger.”

Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

Jesus our advocate said not a word there.

But now thanks to the New Testament, Revelations 12:7-12 says,

7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power

and the kingdom of our God,

and the authority of his Messiah.

For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,

who accuses them before our God day and night,

has been hurled down.

11 They triumphed over him

by the blood of the Lamb

and by the word of their testimony;
