Jer 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Jer 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Jer 1:6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

Jer 1:7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

Jer 1:8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

Jer 1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

God comes to charge us to wake us up, to talk to your senses

To challenge us to dream to believe in a big God. He speaks to our paradigm, enlarges our parameters and reconstructs our projections

It takes clear thinking cerebral people to come to themselves to come to God

It takes a cerebral person to understand that I live and move and have my being in Jesus

Thirdly he comes to change us. Rom 12 Be not conformed or limited to this worldly system of spiritual poverty. But be transformed or released from boundarys, by the renewing of your mind I am changing what I say which is changing what I see

Whenever Jesus is allowed to he makes life better.

In verse 5 god said he formed jeremiah this means he had everything he needed to put in him yet he needed to make a form to carry out his plan

Something is formed when there is a function for it. God hasa function for you. God knew you before. You are chosen.

Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Aristotle and plato had an ongoing discussion concerning the best process for a sculptor to form a sculpture

It was plato who 1st postulated that a sculptor 1st imagines when looking at a mass of stone or marble or clay he imagines what he wants it to be formed into

Paul said Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, So how is he formed in me?

Aristotle said I disagree w/ you plato he said if a sculptor is going to form a sculpture he must look in to the unidentified stone. Marble or clay sees what it already is and cuts away everything that doesn’t look like it is supposed to be.

Paul was astute in Hebrew text and prolific in greek thought studied at the feet of gamiliel

Paul wanted us to know that how Christ is formed in us is that he must remove everything in us that must go

Everything that was not intended to be a part of our formation must go

Process of preparation

From the root word of pare it means to remove the husk or shuck it

At one time the husk protected the fruit or vegetable but now when it is ready to used by the master it is now hiding it

So god prepares us. Not fun, no glory, misunderstanding, unfairness,

Understand the preparation is not the end it is the preshow

All that encompasses your being even your mistakes, sins and garbage god wants to use to bring glory.

Jesus said lazarus is dead and iam glad after 4 days even his sisters said behold he stinketh.

You have in you destiny. We must settle 2 very important issues.

1. Is identity who we really are not perception not opinion you know your identity by what you have in your hand. Ther must be loss or a pruning so that we can really discover Christ being formed in us. Before god multiply sometimes he must subtract. remember ruth? Father in law dies bro in law died sis in law left. Left w/ a bitter mom inlaw But there was a formation going on and she married boaz became the mother of obed, jessed david jesus

2. Destiny. What are you supposed to become? Out of these come a vision, goal or dream. Predetermined course of events/future

Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Sight is not controlled by your cornea or retina most often by your mind most often.
