Destiny Bats

If you are embarking on a journey and you don’t have a destination someone will tell you where to go and the place he tells you to go might not be your actual destination. That is why we pray that prayer that God should arise and attack our ignorance, open our eyes and remove ignorance from our souls.

Proverbs 29:18: “ Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he” Here is a destiny fulfilling scripture. Anybody who wants to pursue his destiny and achieve it should note the message in these scriptures.

Psalm 139:13-16: “ For thou hast possessed my reins; thou has covered me in my mothers womb, l will praise thee; marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when l was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfected; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them”

Acts 2:17: “And it came to pass in the last days, saith the Lord, I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophecy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams”

These scriptures have put down what is expected of us. But many fall short of this and therefore, have become destiny bats. By the Bible definition, the dreamers are supposed to be those who are from 70 upwards, and those below seventy are supposed to be seeing visions.

Not seeing a correct vision makes a person a bat. The bat is considered to be a very strange creature by many people because they do not see with their eyes but with their ears. If you cover the eyes of a bat with a plaster, and put it in a place, it can still fly and avoid all the poles and wires. But if you plaster its ears and ask to fly, it will crash on things it can easily avoid.

Bats make quite a lot of noise. They have their mouths open all the time because they use them to produce sound. And through the sound that bounces back to their ears, they are able to find where they are going. With their eyes, they cannot see that is why they lack dark places and operate mostly at night. Their mouths are open, their eyes are blind, it is only their ears that operate.

It is very sad when you are completely ignorant of your destiny. It is a tragedy. The fact that somebody is doing perfectly well does not mean that is what the Lord wants the person to be doing. Some people go into a profession because that is what their parents want them to do. Most of the time such people do not prosper because they are not in God’s position for their lives. It is important that our eyes remain wide open spiritually. Without a vision, the people perish.

A man entered a plane, before the plan took off; he bowed down to pray and lo and behold he saw blood all over the place. He did not say anything. He just took his briefcase and walked out. The hostess asked, “ Excuse me sir, where are you going? The man replied, “I am not entering this one” The plane crashed and not a single person came out alive. Without a vision, the people perish.

There are many sisters who have married into bondages and they don’t know what to do now. There are people who did not understand what they were entering into. They entered and could not come out anymore. Such people are destiny bats. When a person is a destiny bat, he is ignorant of his divine destiny. Ignorance means lack of knowledge. It means being destitute to knowledge. It means to be unlearned, unaware and uninformed.

SIX KINDS OF IGNORANCE

1. Ignorance of not knowing: This is a situation when a person just does not know. He has never known and has no opportunity to know. He does not know anything at all. There was a man who before he got delivered, at 5a.m every morning a woman who was light in complexion would come to his bed and they would begin to commit immorality. He was enjoying it until he began to learn about spirit husbands and spirit wives. He did not know that he was in trouble until he leant his lessons.

2. Ignorance of inadequate information: In this case, the person believes that he knows all when he does not. He thinks that he has all the necessary information, when as a matter of fact, he does not have enough information to reach a valid conclusion. He is still ignorant, because he does not have adequate information.
