11 demonstrations of separation to God’s Good News.

1—A demonstration of separation to God’s Good News is...

Willful ENSLAVEMENT(:1a)

—Explanation:(:1a) Servanthood/Bondage/Slavery

:1—“Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God”

TO “Paul”—‘Small/Little’ FROM ‘Saul’—‘Desired’

“Bondservant/Servant”—??????—A slave, bondman, man of servile condition; A servant, attendant. The usual word for slave, one who is permanently in servitude, in subjection to a master.—Labor without wages. Indebted!

—No misgivings regarding Enslavement on Paul’s part!

Ps. 34:18—“The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.”

Isa. 57:15—“For thus says the High & Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high & holy place, With him who has a contrite & humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”

Isa. 66:2—“For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says the LORD. “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor & of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.”

2Cor. 12:9—“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

“Jesus”—??????— ‘YHWH is salvation.’ The cognate of the Hebrew —ewvwhy Y@howshuwa` yeh-ho-shoo’-ah— ‘Joshua’—‘YHWH is salvation.’

Lk. 1:31-33—““And behold, you will conceive in your womb & bring forth a Son, & shall call His name JESUS. “He will be great, & will be called the Son of the Highest; & the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. “And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, & of His kingdom there will be no end.””

Lk. 1:35—“And the angel answered & said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, & the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.”

Mat. 1:20-21—“But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. “And she will bring forth a Son, & you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.””

“Christ”—???????—Anointed.—Uniquely qualified & designated of God.

—Argumentation:

Rom. 6:16, 18-22—“Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?”....“And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, & of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, & having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, & the end, everlasting life.”

Jn. 12:26—“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; & where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”

*A “bondservant” knows his assignment or is anxiously awaiting his/her next one!

Willful DELEGATION(:1b)

—Explanation:(:1b) Assignment/Invitation

:1—“Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God”

“Called”—??????—Called, invited.

—Not self-determined but determined by God!

“Apostle”—?????????—A delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders.

Imagine the trust God places upon each delegate!—YOU!

—Argumentation:

Rom. 11:29—“For the gifts & the calling of God are irrevocable.”

1Cor 1:26-31—“For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, & God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; & the base things of the world & the things which are despised God has chosen, & the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God--& righteousness & sanctification & redemption-- that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”
