“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”

🕊? INTRODUCTION:

Beloved, hear me well. We are not just in a world full of challenges—we are in a battlefield infested with wickedness, surrounded by arrows, traps, temptations, and demonic strategies.

Jesus, in His infinite wisdom, didn’t just teach us how to pray for blessings—He taught us how to pray for deliverance.

The phrase “Deliver us from evil” is not casual. It is a divine emergency broadcast.

It is the cry of destiny under siege. It is the prophetic call for intervention, insulation, and preservation.

> 🔥 Evil is real. But God is our Deliverer.

I. WHAT IS EVIL? (WITH PROPHETIC & GREEK REVELATION)

Evil is not just something bad. Evil is a spiritual entity, a living strategy, a destructive program from hell.

Jesus used the Greek word:

Ponerou (p??????) — from poneros

Which means:

> “The wicked one, the malicious destroyer, the morally corruptor, the afflicter, and the author of hardship, toil, and destruction.”

So when Jesus said, “Deliver us from evil”, He wasn't referring to a general discomfort—He was referring to a dark personality.

He was saying:

> “Rescue them from the evil one who engineers pain, sponsors temptation, and traffics in affliction.”

> ? Evil is not just what happens—it is who orchestrates it. It is not passive—it is personal. Evil has a name, a voice, and an agenda.

II. THE STRATEGIC DIMENSIONS OF EVIL

Evil doesn’t strike randomly. It is engineered. It is programmed. It is often inherited, transferred, or provoked. Here are the key expressions:

1. Programmed Evil

Traps scheduled into your timeline by demonic intelligence.

Evil calendars designed to introduce delay, failure, or death.

III. HOW GOD DELIVERS FROM EVIL

C. By Fire – The Holy Ghost fire devours satanic programming. (Isaiah 10:27)

IV. FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM...

Jesus ends the prayer not in fear, but in glory and dominion:

> “For thine is the kingdom” – You are sovereign, not Satan.

“And the power” – You are the ultimate force, not demons.

“And the glory” – You write the final chapter, not the evil one.

This is not a cry of survival—it is a declaration of dominion!
